All the panels below are made from .032-inch 6061-T4 aluminum, an alloy which has excellent strength while still allowing forming operations such as bead rolling without excess panel distortion.  These panels are designed to be installed with aluminum pop-rivets, which are included with each order.

The panels come fully bead rolled with a design of my choosing unless otherwise noted or specially requested.  A unique feature of the Big Wig Race Cars’ panels is that they have a very slight bevel rolled around the entire perimeter of each piece, giving the finished panel a very professional look.   

Door and quarter panel sets come already drilled for 1/8" rivets, which are also included.  Holes for inside door handles and window winders can be cut at no additional charge.

Each piece is covered in protective white plastic sheeting throughout all the marking, cutting, and beading operations to prevent scratches.  After fabrication, I remove the plastic, and wax each piece with Pledge.  The waxed aluminum will look amazing in its raw finish!  The Pledge gives the panels a beautiful semi-gloss look, prevents the aluminum from oxidizing, and is easy to re-apply periodically if you want to leave the aluminum bare.

Brushed, anodized, painted, or powdercoated finishes are not available from me, but could be done by you upon receipt if so desired.  I like them natural.

If you want to design your own pattern and have me incorporate that into your panels, please email me at bigwig1@bigwigracecars.com.  I am always willing to work with you to make sure you get the unique look you want.  If you don't have a preference, I will use my own judgment and  create the design myself.

Premium panel designs

These designs require much more labor to layout and bead roll the patterns. Consequently, they're more expensive. Any designs shown in the section above are considered to be of standard complexity and are available at the standard prices shown above. Any designs below are what I call "premium" designs, and are available at the prices shown below. If you want one of the premium designs, you must order using the shopping cart buttons below. If you want a package price that includes a dash, wing, or firewall, email me for a quote. Upon receipt of order, I will contact you to get the details of what style panel you want, and whether or not it needs handle holes, etc.
